County Dublin VEC complaint to Broadcasting Commission is upheld
The CEO, Dr. Marie Griffin made a complaint to the Broadcasting Complaints Commission under Section 24(2) of the Broadcasting Act 2001 about the Prime Time programme broadcast on RTE 1 television on Thursday April 8th, 2010. The basis of the complaint was that the programme presented factually incorrect information regarding the Community National School model and seriously misrepresented the religious education programme being developed for the schools. The complaint has been upheld by the Broadcasting Commission.
