New Post-Primary community colleges now open
The last week in August, 2008 saw the opening of County Dublin V.E.C’s newest post-primary schools: Donabate Community College and Coláiste Pobail Setanta, Phibblestown, Dublin 15. Both schools opened in temporary accommodation and their permanent buildings are being constructed between now and 2010.
The two new community colleges will be designed and built to meet the highest modern educational requirements and will eventually cater for 1,000 pupils. The Colleges are multi-denominational, co-educational and offer all the boys and girls from the local areas the opportunity to pursue their second level education together.
