The Youth Support Officer is responsible for support services such as grant aid, advice and information to a range of registered groups, e.g. Youth Groups, Youth Sports Groups, Summer Projects, etc. A significant aspect of the service is to encourage and develop programmes that enable voluntary groups to cater more effectively for those young people at risk of becoming involved in drug misuse.
