Post Leaving Certificate Courses (PLC)
County Dublin VEC provides a wide range of programmes available for school-leavers and others who wish to continue with, or return to, education. You may wish to learn a skill to enhance your possibilities in the job market, take professional training in a particular area or re-train in a new area for future employment. Some students use PLC courses as a stepping stone to further education.
The range of courses offered is wide ranging, from the traditional and popular Business and Information Technology, to new courses in Holistic Beauty and Healthcare Assistant.
Courses are based locally around the county in 6 of our colleges and there are little or minimum costs involved in most cases.
Entry Requirements
Acceptance to courses is by application form and/or interview. Some courses require applicants to submit portfolios of work (eg Art). For specific entry requirements for a course, please contact the college directly.
