Co-operation with Other Institutions
County Dublin V.E.C. co-operates with approximately 16 other organisations or institutions through the provision of teaching hours or financial assistance. These centres cater for a wide range of programmes and include Community Training Workshops, St. Ita’s Hospital, the Central Mental Hospital, Probation Projects for young offenders as well as Traveller and Special Education Services. Approximately 40 teacher equivalents are currently employed under these arrangements.
