The Training Centres try to redress educational and social disadvantage and to empower Travellers to progress to further training and employment. There is no upper age limit and National Certification is also an option. Courses are generally of two years duration and offer a wide variety of educational and vocational modules with the option of FETAC accreditation.

 

Participants aged 15 and over are paid an allowance on a pro rata basis for attendance.
