Our Student Grants section are now accepting applications for the 2008-2009 academic year. The Department of Education and Science have just released the application form and notes in softcopy, with hardcopy application forms and notes to follow shortly.

You can request the application form and notes from our student grants section by emailing studentgrants@codubvec.ie or phoning the section at 4529647, Monday to Friday 9.15am to 1pm.

Suzanne Murphy, head of the Student Grants section advises students who hope to go to college and further education in September 2008 "Apply for the student grant as early as you can. One of the biggest problems facing students each year is applying for the grant too late. Alot of students wait until they have their CAO results before applying. They could save themselves alot of worry by applying now - then there will be no delay in the payment of their first installment in Autumn 2008".
